Golf in Southend-on-Sea does not get much better than at Garon Park Golf Complex. Located close to Southend-on-Sea Town Centre yet within easy reach of the A127.

The golf course comprises 27 holes in 3 loops of 9, constructed to a high standard with USGA specification greens. The overall sand based soil on the course allows for free drainage and therefore year round play. A 9 hole par 3 academy course again built to a high standard is ideal for beginners, warm up or practicing your short game.

Each combination of the 9 hole loops are a good test of golf with a Par of 70 and all 18 combinations are in excess of 6,000 yards. Free draining soil and sand based greens offer playability throughout the year. Very rarely do we need to go onto temporary greens. There are several water hazards on the courses which gives a mature feel way beyond its age.

This coming golf season sees the installation of a new irrigation system that will guarantee superior playing conditions through the driest of summers, along with 1500 yards of new paths and walkways which are now in place to make your journey from green to tee a safe and enjoyable experience.

The aesthetics of the course are again improving all the time with the redesigning of our bunkers, fairway shaping and pruning of all trees on the course. Our lakes and water features have been cleared of perimeter foliage offering better playing lines and views.

Information signs are also on the course to help further your enjoyment around the course.
