Welcome to Girton Golf Club

Since its inception in 1936, Girton Golf Club has been a member-run Golf Club. Situated on the outskirts of Cambridge we are in easy reach of the City. It is now a well established par 69 6012 yard course that plays harder than its length suggests. From the Red tees, the course presents an interesting and demanding 5417 yards at a par of 71.

The keen golfer will find that whilst the course is comparatively flat it is quite tight and represents a testin g challenge of accuracy and control. Recently we have retained a golf architect to make recommendations on course remodelling and other improvements. Much of this work is now complete and the course is now a visual delight with a profusion of trees and flowering shrubs bordering its fairways and boundaries. There is also an abundance of wildlife including our famous black squirrels. We are currently developing plans for more course improvements extending the course and increasing the level of challenge.
